HourHouse - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

HourHouse - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! This episode is a party because I welcome guitarist and vocalist Nick ‘Neeco’ Trahan, drummer Robb Barrio, bassist Travvy Thomas, and guitarist Mattie Cortopassi of New Orlean’s HourHouse!

HourHouse is a newer genre-bending band to me, but I’m thrilled I got to hear their new album, ‘Gold Tooth Guru,’ that just came out recently through UNFD (that means you should check it out, too)! We talk about the new album, New Orleans, and have one of the most fun and confusing debates I’ve ever had on the show! Hahaha.

It’s a lot of fun getting to know HourHouse, and you won’t want to miss it 🤘

Note: this recording was performed using a brand-new audio setup, so there were some audio issues (primarily because of the conferencing software). I did my best to smooth everything out. I hope you still enjoy it 🤘

Hollow Front - Tyler Tate - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, my special guest is Tyler Tate of Hollow Front!

It wouldn’t give Hollow Front enough credit to say they’ve had a tough couple of years. From a significant van accident to a resulting lawsuit and multiple members leaving the band, Tyler and Hollow Front have not had an easy go of it. But Hollow Front has persevered and perhaps released their best album in ‘The Fear Of Letting Go’ through UNFD Records!

Tyler, one of the two remaining members of Hollow Front and the lead vocalist, talks about everything Hollow Front, the new album, the scene, and what he sees in the future. This is an open conversation I think you’ll all enjoy and learn from 🤘

Ian Hates Music #144 - My Immortal (Version 8)

There's so much change happening in the scene, you gotta be happy that Ian and Dave are here to navigate you through everything going on...right? Meh, maybe not, but they're still gonna do it! There's a lot to talk about and this episode of Ian Hates Music. Some in humor (Evanescence fans attack) and not so humorous (accusations against band members). You know what to do.

*This episode was recorded before more sexual "misconduct" accusations came out and Warped Tour announced the final tour would be in 2018. We'll talk about all of this in next week's episode. Including, the ridiculous idea that MCR would reunite to do the final Warped Tour. Ridiculous nonsense.
