NOT Featuring Jonny Craig Featuring Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio

NOT Featuring Jonny Craig Featuring Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio returns in this episode, but it’s to talk about the Scene! Specifically, Jonny Craig this time 🤘

In this special episode, Jake and Ian discuss some shows they’ve been to recently and then focus on the music of Jonny Craig. They hit on all his previous bands to his present project (Old Flame), and then dive deep into his impact on the scene with his bands and the immense amount of features he’s recorded over the years. Let’s not give away everything here, but obviously, since this is typically an interview show, the title couldn’t be “featuring Jonny Craig,” since he’s not actually on the show right now. We think you’re going to enjoy this one (or get your death threats ready) 🤘

Hollow Front - Tyler Tate - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Hollow Front - Tyler Tate - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, my special guest is Tyler Tate of Hollow Front!

It wouldn’t give Hollow Front enough credit to say they’ve had a tough couple of years. From a significant van accident to a resulting lawsuit and multiple members leaving the band, Tyler and Hollow Front have not had an easy go of it. But Hollow Front has persevered and perhaps released their best album in ‘The Fear Of Letting Go’ through UNFD Records!

Tyler, one of the two remaining members of Hollow Front and the lead vocalist, talks about everything Hollow Front, the new album, the scene, and what he sees in the future. This is an open conversation I think you’ll all enjoy and learn from 🤘

Pyro, Ohio - Peter, Zane, and Jake - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I feature Peter, Zane, and Jake of Pyro, Ohio, who just returned with new music for the first time in 8 years!

I’ve been a fan of Pyro, Ohio since their original releases, so I was thrilled to get together with Peter (Vocals), Zane (Drums), and Jake (Guitar) to talk about the band reuniting, the band’s past, and the band’s future. There’s a lot to go over, some great nostalgia, and a lot of fun, so get listening!

Note: This is the first time recording in my unfinished new studio, so please forgive any minor audio issues that may be there due to relocation and construction (and Zoom, of course) 🤘

Saving Vice - Tyler Small - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Saving Vice - Tyler Small - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I welcome a friend of every music podcast iteration I’ve created and a new member of the four-timers club, Tyler Small of Saving Vice!

Always a pleasure to have Tyler on the show, especially in these strange times. Tyler fills everyone in on what’s been going on with him and Saving Vice during the pandemic and goes in-depth into the ‘Binary’ EP! It’s a very cool concept and great music you’re going to want to check out. As all conversations between us, Tyler and I also talk about what’s going on in the scene, which is always fun, even when we have differing opinions!

PS - I screwed up two things. First, I thought that Tyler was making a comparison involving the Avatar movie (either one), not the show, so now my joke should make sense. Second, the name of the BMTH track we talk about is ‘Happy Song’, not a self-titled ‘That’s The Spirit’ track. That was my bad. Apologies all around.

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I’ve got the lead vocalist of Thousand Below on the show, James DeBerg!

In this conversation with James, we discuss the new acoustic/reimagined EP, ‘Let Go Of Your Love’, available right now through Rise Records, the changes in sound for Thousand Below, Dead Lakes (you’ll understand soon), and so much more! Not to mention a very open conversation about issues in the scene. No, not the band Issues, actual issues. Just go listen to the episode!

Get ready for an open and fun conversation with a lot of insight into the scene!

PS - The lead vocalist for the band Oceano is Adam Warren. My apologies for not remembering! Also, the strange WiFi connection in San Diego does cause some weird sounds from time to time I could not edit out.
