Hollow Front - Tyler Tate - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Hollow Front - Tyler Tate - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, my special guest is Tyler Tate of Hollow Front!

It wouldn’t give Hollow Front enough credit to say they’ve had a tough couple of years. From a significant van accident to a resulting lawsuit and multiple members leaving the band, Tyler and Hollow Front have not had an easy go of it. But Hollow Front has persevered and perhaps released their best album in ‘The Fear Of Letting Go’ through UNFD Records!

Tyler, one of the two remaining members of Hollow Front and the lead vocalist, talks about everything Hollow Front, the new album, the scene, and what he sees in the future. This is an open conversation I think you’ll all enjoy and learn from 🤘

Check out the exclusive interview below, including iTunes, Spotify, and more:

Andrew talks about the change in storyline concept for ‘Escape Artist’, his relationship with To Write Love On Her Arms, creating stories and music with features, and so much more!

This is a very cool and very in-depth talk about Boy Becomes Hero and the scene (including some fun scene stories)!

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I’ve got every member of S’efforcer, Quay Jones, Bryce VanDewark, and Matt Shindle on the show!

This conversation with S’efforcer is a lot of fun! Each of us is in completely separate locations, so sometimes things get a little messy, haha, but it gets smoother very quickly. The guys and I talk in-depth about their new EP ‘Life)•(Less’ (out right now on We Are Triumphant), social media, something rarely discussed on the show (Trapt), and a round of how to pronounce names! Hahaha.

Get ready for a lot of laughs and insight into a really great work of art. Make sure you check out ‘Life)•(Less’ and everything S’efforcer has put out. You will not regret it.

Sheeps N Rubes - Part 1 - Ian Hates The Scene

Sheeps N Rubes - Part 1 - Ian Hates The Scene

Ian Hates The Scene Part 1.jpg

It’s a combination show of Ian Hates Music and Ian’s Untitled Scene Show that results in, IAN HATES THE SCENE! Which of Ian’s personalities are talking, Ian Scene or Ian Hates? He’ll never tell! Wow, that’s dumb. Anyway, Dave returns for a brand new combination show where we talk all the scene news that’s important right now, including but not limited to: streaming shows, backing tracks at live shows, idiots on Twitter, reaction videos, and recent allegations.

Lots of strong opinions and hopefully some jokes are on the way.

TRIGGER WARNING: Do not take jokes Ian and Dave say seriously. There is also a serious conversation about allegations in the scene. If you can’t handle a discussion and conversation on serious topics then don’t listen to this episode and check out Part 2. Part 2 focuses on new singles and album reviews! Maybe that’s more up your alley?

To quote the great scene band Chuggaboom, “If you’re easily offended, here’s your trigger warning”…Learn to take many fucking jokes, life will be better for you.

Listen to the exclusive show here (until some other show steals the content to use it as their own…). Also, available on Spotify, iTunes, and more, just look below:

Big shout out to two people who have helped the show greatly over the years. First up, Rick, who helps anytime I need a promo image! Thanks so much, man! Go follow him on Twitter!

Next up, a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Megan! She’s been a constant supporter of mine and I appreciate her very much! She does crazy exercise stuff, so make sure to check out her website and support her!

Ian Hates Music #228 - You Can't Come Home the Same

Ian Hates Music #228 - You Can't Come Home the Same

It’s time for a brand new episode of Ian Hates Music! James is back, Ian is still not 100% after being sick for a week and a half, but as Fronz says “It Is What It Is”, so you may hear his voice give out every once in while (lucky you!)…The guys have all the fun scene news and some not so fun as well, so, you know what to do!

Get ready for your best weekly dose of metalcore, post-hardcore, metal, hardcore, electronicore, emo, screamo, rock, alternative, pop-punk, punk, easycore, deathcore, nu-metal, and really, all the core you could ever want!

It's another FUCKING GREAT, FUCKING FREE (NSFW) episode of Ian Hates Music you say?!?! That's right! Ian and James talk your scene news from:

The Ghost Inside, Ozzy, Breaking Benjamin, Marilyn Manson, A Day To Remember, Warped Tour, Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, The Word Alive, Blessthefall, Wage War, and a serious conversation (on a comedy show) about sexual misconduct/assault accusations in the scene. This is not a conversation about who is “right” and who is “wrong”. This conversation does not choose sides and does not expect you to either. It is an analytical conversation, all speculation, all opinion, on the current state of accusations that happen to take place in the scene. If you like an open conversation with no judgements that may actually be thought provoking, then this conversation is for you. If not, you can skip it and go on to New Songs. The entertainment show, known as Ian Hates Music, is normally a comedy show, but the co-hosts try to be open and honest and sometimes that means covering the big stories that involve a sensitive nature.

And New Songs talk from:

Born A New, Low Dose, AngelMaker, Whitechapel, Dayshell, Harm, Life Itself, The Damned Things, Our Last Night, New Idea Society, Belle, The Anchor, and Charlatan!

Add on album reviews from:

  • Attila - Villain - Self-Release

  • ExitWounds - Visions - EP - SharpTone Records

  • Blood Youth - Starve - Rude Records

  • Boundaries - My Body In Bloom - EP - Unbeaten Records

  • To the Rats and Wolves - Cheap Love - Arising Empire/Nuclear Blast Records

  • Minors - Abject Bodies - Holy Roar/Deathwish Records

  • Deadships - D.O.A. - Stay Sick Recordings

  • Ghost Iris - Apple of Discord - SPV/Long Branch Records

Plus, stuff and/or things and maybe some more!

Miss Fortune - Mikey Sawyer - Ian Hates Music #177

Miss Fortune - Mikey Sawyer - Ian Hates Music #177

Are you ready for some real conversation? If so, then you're really going to enjoy this. Friend of the show Mikey Sawyer of Miss Fortune returns to Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition!

A lot has happened since the last time Ian spoke with Mikey. Not only has So What canceled their festival this year (where their first talk took place), but Miss Fortune not only disbanded but also got back together, they signed with a new label and had a hit single come out! Just to name a few big events in the last year.

There's also a lot of serious talk about how Mikey has dealt with bandmates moving on, a failed marriage, and why Jonny Craig comments on his social media. Really, there's a lot to go over here and I'm not going to spoil it all, so my suggestion to you is to get listening!

Follow the links below to support Mikey Sawyer and everything he does:

Ian Hates Music #153 - (sic)

Ian Hates Music #153 - (sic)

Ian and Dave aren't out of the woods yet it seems. This sickness still has a hold on them, but they're trudging through for you! Lots to talk about in the scene, but they're not going to talk about that youtuber guy...yet. They would, but it would be better when they have the ability to fully go into everything they'd like to. It's a huge discussion. So, the time was put aside to do it, but now is not the right time with how they're feeling. That's why the episode is shorter this week!

And just a word of help on that topic, if you're dealing with depression or anything that may lead you to contemplate suicide or even act on it, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

But aside from that, get ready for your best weekly dose of metalcore, post-hardcore, metal, hardcore, electronicore, emo, screamo, rock, alternative, pop-punk, punk, easycore, deathcore, and really, all the core you could ever want!

It's another FUCKING GREAT, FUCKING SICK, FUCKING FREE (NSFW) episode of Ian Hates Music you say?!?! That's right! Ian and Dave talk your scene news from:

Bands and magazines starting podcasts, Gibson and Funko Pops, people taking pictures at the Misfits' show, Asking Alexandria on the Billboard chart, and that YouTube guy and suicide (not a full talk though)

And New Songs from:

A Perfect Circle and QuietKind (still not getting as many new tracks! AAAArrrrrggghhhh!)...

Add on album reviews from:

  • The Animal in Me - Helping Won’t Help - Independent Release

  • The Beautiful Exchange - Not As Dead As We Used to Be - Self-Release

  • Nik Nocturnal - Undying Shadow - Independent Release
