HourHouse - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

HourHouse - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! This episode is a party because I welcome guitarist and vocalist Nick ‘Neeco’ Trahan, drummer Robb Barrio, bassist Travvy Thomas, and guitarist Mattie Cortopassi of New Orlean’s HourHouse!

HourHouse is a newer genre-bending band to me, but I’m thrilled I got to hear their new album, ‘Gold Tooth Guru,’ that just came out recently through UNFD (that means you should check it out, too)! We talk about the new album, New Orleans, and have one of the most fun and confusing debates I’ve ever had on the show! Hahaha.

It’s a lot of fun getting to know HourHouse, and you won’t want to miss it 🤘

Note: this recording was performed using a brand-new audio setup, so there were some audio issues (primarily because of the conferencing software). I did my best to smooth everything out. I hope you still enjoy it 🤘

Get ready for an open and fun conversation with a lot of insight into the scene!

PS - The lead vocalist for the band Oceano is Adam Warren. My apologies for not remembering! Also, the strange WiFi connection in San Diego does cause some weird sounds from time to time I could not edit out.

Ian Hates Music #218 - Another Anniversary Show - Part 1 - Grey Sorenson

Oh my goodness! It’s another Ian Hates Music Anniversary Show! You know how Ian likes surprises, so in this part, Ian welcomes Grey Sorenson back to Ian Hates Music! It’s two friends shooting the shit about 2018 and 2019 while one of them walks all over the planet (bu dum ch!).

If you don’t know Grey (then shame, shame, shame), he’s the lead vocalist of Charlatan, currently signed to Revival Recordings, and the vocalist on solo projects he discusses in more detail on the show.

Grey has joined Ian many times on Ian Hates Conversations, Music, and Movies, but if you think you’ve heard everything, prepare yourself. A lot happened to Grey in 2018, and you’re not going to want to miss what he has to say.

Make sure to support Grey with everything he does by following the links below:

Ian and Dave are feeling so much better (except for Dave's mic who picks up his sickness apparently halfway through the show)! Lucky you! Prepare yourselves for a ton of built up vitriol and venom! Lot's to discuss including an announcement about the Ian Hate Music Anniversary show! AND, Ian and Dave tackle a very "controversial" topic in the scene...
