Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I feature returning long-time friend of the show Tyler Frey of Take The Fall!

It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a chance to speak with Tyler on the show. Tyler was on one of the original iterations of this show, and it was a lot of fun then, and it’s a lot of fun now. Tyler talks about the EP ‘Party With A Purpose’ that Take The Fall released last year during quarantine. He fills in the gaps of the band’s history, we talk about the scene, and we get into some fun movie talk!

It’s always great catching up with Tyler, even when we disagree on a movie, haha. Everyone doesn’t have to agree all the time to have a fun conversation! Remember that.

Note: I was just getting over being sick and my pop-filter had issues, so you might hear some plosives, etc. Nothing is perfect. Also, we joke a lot on this show, so be prepared and just enjoy yourselves, haha. On that note, Ian Hates makes an appearance as well…

The Plot In You - Landon Tewers - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I welcome back friend of the show, Landon Tewers of The Plot In You!

Not only does Landon front The Plot In You, but he also writes for other musicians, has side projects like Ai640, and has a very diverse solo career. Speaking of his solo career, on Friday (January 29th), Landon released his newest EP ‘Frontal Lobe Submission’ independently! We talk about the release as well as covid, life, and even DC movies! We certainly have a lot of fun at their expense, so I hope you like a lot of laughs and a lot of tangents, but don’t worry, there’s some serious stuff in there too.

Note: The conversation doesn’t start with an intro because we had been talking off-air for a while and didn’t want to stop the flow, so you’re joining the talk already in progress.

I Feel TRAPT in This Scene - Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

I Feel TRAPT in This Scene - Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

It’s time to talk scene with Ian Scene. Wow, those two things seem to go together pretty well…must not be a coincidence…

Hey, don’t bother with that gibberish. The guys felt like catching up and talking the scene and a ton of tangents as they’re known to do. But, this talk went so long I decided to cut it into parts. Part 1 deals with some covid-19 talk (obviously), A Day To Remember, the word “simp” replacing “stan", Star Wars, and much, much more!

The next parts deal with The Used, a take you’ve only heard from Ian Scene on the “Trapt situation”, and still, so much more. Make sure to look out for those!

You read that correctly. Get ready for a lot of fun, scene knowledge, and a lot of strong opinions!

TRIGGER WARNING: Do not take things Ian, Jackson, and James say seriously. Ian, Jackson, and James also wish everyone impacted by covid-19 the best and a quick recovery. Stay safe and healthy out there everyone. A lot of people’s jobs are also affected (touring personnel, restaurant and bar staff, and so many more), so help out when you have the means. None of this works to say in a comedy show, but in the description, it does.

To quote the great scene band Chuggaboom, “If you’re easily offended, here’s your trigger warning”…Learn to take many fucking jokes, life will be better for you.

Ian Hates Music #207 - American Satan

Ian Hates Music #207 - American Satan

It’s the first official Ian Hates Music meets Ian Hates Movies crossover event!

WELCOME TO MASTER-SCENE THEATER!

Jackson returns to Ian Hates Music to talk the scene classic movie American Satan!

What’s better on an October Friday night than grabbing a few beers and talking B-Horror movies with your buddy? Nothing, that’s right! Now you get to hear Ian and Jackson do just that, so it’s like you’re there with them as well!

And, American Satan is a great crossover movie for the guys because it covers the horror/thriller/mystery genre while also showcasing scene stars like Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides and Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria!

Listen as Ian and Jackson take you through the tale of a starting band as they make a deal with the devil for fortune and fame while talking movies and scene music…it’s a tale as old as time…

Does Ian Hate American Satan…

Also, this episode takes place as Ian gets really sick and starts to lose his voice for days…I guess he should have made a deal with Mr. Capricorn…

If you go to iTunes and rate the show 5 stars and leave a review, let Ian know on social media (links below) and Ian will shout you out on the next show! You have no idea how much that helps so thank you.
