Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! In this episode, I’ve got the lead vocalist of Thousand Below on the show, James DeBerg!

In this conversation with James, we discuss the new acoustic/reimagined EP, ‘Let Go Of Your Love’, available right now through Rise Records, the changes in sound for Thousand Below, Dead Lakes (you’ll understand soon), and so much more! Not to mention a very open conversation about issues in the scene. No, not the band Issues, actual issues. Just go listen to the episode!

Get ready for an open and fun conversation with a lot of insight into the scene!

PS - The lead vocalist for the band Oceano is Adam Warren. My apologies for not remembering! Also, the strange WiFi connection in San Diego does cause some weird sounds from time to time I could not edit out.

Wildways - Toli Borisov - Ian Hates Music #206

Wildways - Toli Borisov - Ian Hates Music #206

It’s a very cool Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition featuring Toli Borisov from Wildways, all the way from Russia!

Living here in America and you don’t know Wildways? Well, it’s time to change that! Time to meet one of the biggest bands in Russia who also happen to be electronicore/metalcore! Worried it’ll be a tough interview because of the language barrier? Don’t worry about that either! Toli speaks English better than most people Ian knows in the states, haha.

Toli joins Ian all the way from Russia to talk about their sophomore album ‘Day X’ available through Pale Chord Music, the background of the band, singing in English and Russian, politics, and more!

This is a really fun one, so check it out!

Follow the links below to support Toli and Wildways with everything they do:

Many thanks to Toli for staying up extremely late to join Ian on the show. Make sure you check out the new album ‘Day X’ out now on Pale Chord!

Note: Ian was incorrect when he said he had a band on from Iceland, it was actually Finland. Ian apologizes.

Saving Vice - Tyler Small and Chase Papariello - Ian Hates Music #196

Saving Vice - Tyler Small and Chase Papariello - Ian Hates Music #196

It's time for a very cool Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition featuring the lead vocalists of Saving Vice, Tyler Small and Chase Papariello!

It's a really exciting time for Saving Vice as their debut EP 'Colder Than Dark' came out recently, they're playing the Massachusetts date of Warped Tour, and it was just announced that they'll be playing the main stage of iMatter Festival in August!

Tyler and Chase go over what the dynamic is like for them playing live, the dual vocalist stigma in Metalcore, and a whole lot more! You won't want to miss this!

In fact, this is such a good conversation, it's only Part 1! Brief warning though, as you'll hear in the conversation, there are some phone issues. For one, there are a couple (and I mean only a couple) weird sounds at the beginning of the call, but, there's also an issue where when Ian talks, Chase and Tyler's side sounds "underwater" for a couple seconds. This is a very strange phenomenon, which has only happened once or twice in the history of Ian Hates. It's addressed during the conversation early, and Ian tries to not chime in as much, but that changes the timing of a "normal" conversation. So, for Part 2, Ian and Saving Vice are going to speak LIVE at Warped Tour! So check out Part 1 now and Part 2 will be on its' way shortly!

Follow the links below to support Tyler, Chase, and Saving Vice with everything they do:

Many thanks to Chase and Tyler for taking the time to come on Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition! Make sure to pick up their EP 'Colder Than Dark' and catch them live at Warped Tour in Mansfield, MA, and iMatter Festival! Ian will definitely be covering Warped Tour, so go join them for a great time!
