Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio returns in this episode, but this time, it’s to continue discussing the Scene! Specifically, the continuation of our series on labels with Victory Records 🤘

In this special episode, Jake and Ian discuss another very influential scene label, Victory Records. Not only that, Ian and Jake share personal stories from bands of the label (but you’ll have to listen to find out who)! And, of course, there are tons of tangents and random scene talk 🤘

Viva La Scene Muerte - Ian's Untitled Scene Show or Ian Hates Music

Viva La Scene Muerte - Ian's Untitled Scene Show or Ian Hates Music

Welcome to either Ian’s Untitled Scene Show or Ian Hates Music! It all depends on what personality comes out during the show…

You may be able to tell what we’re going to talk about on this episode based on the promo image, but I assure you there’s even more. Prepare yourself for the only honest scene podcast out there. The only show not parroting the position of others in the scene. It’s all about unique takes bay bay! Ok, I’m dumb and tired. Time to stop being a dork. Just go listen.

Just remember that this is a comedy/entertainment show about awesome music and everything is an opinion, so calm the fuck down! Just listen and have some fun with the original scene boys! Wait, is that even a good nickname? Highly doubtful. Fuck. Stop reading and listen! (I used this line before but it still works)

P.S. - You’ll hear some weird mic sounds every once in a while. We ain’t perfect. Viva La Whatever!

Scenemageddon 2021 Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Scenemageddon 2021 Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show or Ian Hates Music! I don’t really know anymore…

I don’t want to give away anything from Part 1 of this amusing conversation or even who’s in it; otherwise, I feel like I’ll be giving up too many of the surprises. Just know it’s a comedy show about everything going on in the scene. We have the opinions no one else has, so why not take a listen and get pissed at our unique takes?

The Best, Worst, and the "Meh" of the Scene in 2020 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

The Best, Worst, and the "Meh" of the Scene in 2020 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

IUSS Holiday.jpg

I was visited by the ghosts of Scene past, present, and future, and even though they agreed with all my opinions of the scene, the one thing they wanted from me was to stop trying to make everything perfect and just put out episodes without worrying about making them sound studio quality. So, here’s the end of 2020 episode with all the scars that the real 2020 has (i.e. no editing, you get what you get). No one seems to care when shows sound like it’s two guys in a bathroom stall and not humorous whatsoever, so why would you care that Dave is halfway across the country and there’s some background noise?

Anyway, I’m hanging out with the Scene ghosts right now listening to From First to Last and talking about how terrible Alt Press is. Enjoy the jokes and please stay safe and healthy this holiday season!

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas!

Happy New Year!

Stay Scene!

Sheeps N Rubes - Part 1 - Ian Hates The Scene

Sheeps N Rubes - Part 1 - Ian Hates The Scene

Ian Hates The Scene Part 1.jpg

It’s a combination show of Ian Hates Music and Ian’s Untitled Scene Show that results in, IAN HATES THE SCENE! Which of Ian’s personalities are talking, Ian Scene or Ian Hates? He’ll never tell! Wow, that’s dumb. Anyway, Dave returns for a brand new combination show where we talk all the scene news that’s important right now, including but not limited to: streaming shows, backing tracks at live shows, idiots on Twitter, reaction videos, and recent allegations.

Lots of strong opinions and hopefully some jokes are on the way.

TRIGGER WARNING: Do not take jokes Ian and Dave say seriously. There is also a serious conversation about allegations in the scene. If you can’t handle a discussion and conversation on serious topics then don’t listen to this episode and check out Part 2. Part 2 focuses on new singles and album reviews! Maybe that’s more up your alley?

To quote the great scene band Chuggaboom, “If you’re easily offended, here’s your trigger warning”…Learn to take many fucking jokes, life will be better for you.

Listen to the exclusive show here (until some other show steals the content to use it as their own…). Also, available on Spotify, iTunes, and more, just look below:

Big shout out to two people who have helped the show greatly over the years. First up, Rick, who helps anytime I need a promo image! Thanks so much, man! Go follow him on Twitter!

Next up, a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Megan! She’s been a constant supporter of mine and I appreciate her very much! She does crazy exercise stuff, so make sure to check out her website and support her!

I Feel TRAPT in This Scene - Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

I Feel TRAPT in This Scene - Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

IFTITS-P1.jpg

It’s time to talk scene with Ian Scene. Wow, those two things seem to go together pretty well…must not be a coincidence…

Hey, don’t bother with that gibberish. The guys felt like catching up and talking the scene and a ton of tangents as they’re known to do. But, this talk went so long I decided to cut it into parts. Part 1 deals with some covid-19 talk (obviously), A Day To Remember, the word “simp” replacing “stan", Star Wars, and much, much more!

The next parts deal with The Used, a take you’ve only heard from Ian Scene on the “Trapt situation”, and still, so much more. Make sure to look out for those!

You read that correctly. Get ready for a lot of fun, scene knowledge, and a lot of strong opinions!

TRIGGER WARNING: Do not take things Ian, Jackson, and James say seriously. Ian, Jackson, and James also wish everyone impacted by covid-19 the best and a quick recovery. Stay safe and healthy out there everyone. A lot of people’s jobs are also affected (touring personnel, restaurant and bar staff, and so many more), so help out when you have the means. None of this works to say in a comedy show, but in the description, it does.

To quote the great scene band Chuggaboom, “If you’re easily offended, here’s your trigger warning”…Learn to take many fucking jokes, life will be better for you.
